Marilyn Croghan, M.D.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
Originally from Le Grande, Oregon, Dr. Croghan earned an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and a medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. She completed both an internship and residency at the University of Washington’s Department of Internal Medicine and a fellowship at the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. She was also named a chemistry research fellow at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. She completed a residency training program at the University of Arizona and was chief resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology.Before joining Arizona Oncology Associates, Dr. Croghan was director of the oncology section at Thomas-Davis Medical Center in Tucson. She also served as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Arizona’s Department of Radiation Oncology.

CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Croghan is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and radiation oncology.

HONORS:
Dr. Croghan is a widely published researcher, participating in more than 20 clinical research studies. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Radiology and Pima County Medical Society. Since 1999 she has served on the grants committee of the Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Race for the Cure.She is also associate medical director of Carondelet Hospice in Tucson and a member of the hospice’s advisory board.
