PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University and a medical degree from University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.Previously he was a hematology and oncology specialist at the Wichita Clinic in Wichita, Kansas, and both ambulatory care firm chief and emergency room director at Lakeside VA Medical Center in Chicago.
