PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
He completed his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Algiers, Algeria. He completed a residency in Hematology at the University of Paris VII, France. He earned a Masters and a PhD in Molecular Biology of Cancer at the University of Paris VII, France. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed a subspecialty combined fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Indiana University affiliated hospitals in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to joining Arizona Oncology Associates in 2006, Dr. Madani maintained a private practice in Hematology Oncology in Jackson, Michigan.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Madani is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
HONORS:
Dr. Madani is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He was recipient of the 2003 Merit award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He ranked top foreign medical graduate at the 1990 French medicine internship competition. Dr. Madani’s research on leukemia has been published in Blood and Oncology, his research on testicular cancer has been published in the Annals of Oncology and the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.
