PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
Dr. Brooks is a 1982 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and 1986 graduate of University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed post-graduate training during residency in pathology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and Parkland Memorial Hospital, in Dallas. Following, he completed residency in internal medicine at St. Paul Medical Center in Dallas and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Arizona Science Center in Tucson. Prior to joining Arizona Oncology Associates, Dr. Brooks served as assistant professor of internal medicine at the University of Arizona Health Science Center in Tucson. He continues to serve the Center as a private practice and clinical assistant professor.
CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Brooks is board certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology.
HONORS:
Dr. Brooks is a member of the American College of Physicians; American Medical Association; American Association for Cancer Research; American Society of Clinical Oncology; and the Arizona Clinical Oncology Society.
